chris's journal entry #115; "BOC! [UPDATED]" on 2008-09-25:
Previous Next

Okay, it's been forever since the last update, but something special enough has finally happened. Woot!.com - purveyors of random discounted electronics and such (one item available each day) occasionally has a "woot-off" where they offer a large variety of items (usually leftovers) in rapid succession. Usually during a woot off, they offer the "Random Crap", also known as a "Bag of Crap", BOC, "Bandolier of Carrots", "Blogging Old CEO", etc. Anyways, the BOC is highly desired, and they usually have 5000-6000 available, and you can order up to 3 ($1 each + $5 shipping for the order). I have tried several times to get this, and even got "in line" once where I could have gotten some if enough orders ahead of me were cancelled. Well, if you haven't figured it out, I finally got the coveted Bag of Crap! And, not only did I get 1 (as 45% of the people ordering today did), I got 3! I'll post again when it (or parts of it) arrive, hopefully with pictures.
