Today was the last day of work for my boss, the Coordinator of Interactive Communications ("Webmaster") at Lakeland College, as he is going to start working for Kohler Co. He has worked there for the last two and a half years, and I have worked there with him as web assistant for the last year and a half. It has been great working with him and talking with him as a friend. He is the proprietor of Dynamic Develop, and is the operator and lead programmer for PageBuildr, of which I am an assistant and "consultant". His replacement hasn't yet been determined, but for sure won't quite be able to fill the void left behind by Jason Irish. Fortunately, we'll be able to keep in touch and will probably get a chance to meet every once in a while. A going-away meal is planned for next week sometime. The future looks bright for him as he takes a new job coordinating the web development of Kohler's website. The Lakeland Mirror (the campus newspaper) had a great interview/article about Jason's history and carrer before and at Lakeland College. Going to work sure won't be the same with someone else in Jason's cubicle, and will take some getting used to. Best of luck to you Jason, and hope to see you in the future.
