Well, I'm back home safe now. I had fun in Milwaukee for the last 6-ish days. The lectures were rather boring to an insurance industry outsider, but were okay, I guess. We got to go to Summerfest for free, which was nice, as well as the free food, free goodies (pens, paper pads, mini-FM radio, wooden block puzzle thing, coffe mug, etc.), and free room. We got to visit a few insurance companies and see what their offices/cubefarms looked like. We also had the opportunity to talk with a number of presidents, VPs, CFOs, or lower-level representatives. So, overall, an okay week, but would have been better if I was more interested in selling/underwriting/claims-investigating for an insurance company. Well, now I'll get to celebrate the 4th of July in the few upcoming days. See you around!
