As you may know, I work on the Lakeland College Website, and I have some news for you: we are working on a new website! It is currently about 70-90% done, since we have to copy the old site over to a new server, one page at a time, while we change all of the old includes and templates over to the new sets of includes. In other words, a lot of repetitive, but simple work. Also, a number of old pages are too wide for the new layout, so they have to be modified to fit. Another new thing are the sectional homepages, each part of the website will have a new homepage, thus causing a bunch of work setting these up. We still have some stray pages to convert, some pages to fix, and some behind the scenes stuff (admin pages) as well before the new site will be ready. ETA: Jan 31st.

On a semi-related note, Friday, I got to dress up as "Musko" for a few photos. The photos are going to end up being used for some new giving campaign, so if I find them used anywhere, I'll make sure to post about it here.

And now for some unrelated news: I have started classes again. They seem to be okay thus far, from my week and a half of exposure. I'm having a wonderful time getting my taxes prepared. And finally, I have begun working on an entirely peer to peer IM/chatting type program, wonder if it'll even work... but it might! I'm not sure how far I want to take this idea, but I'll decide as I go along coding it. Well, see you 'round!
