After watching "War of the Worlds" the other day, I found out that a book series "The Tripods" that I read in middle school is going to be made into a movie to be finished/released in about 2007. I am fairly excited to see this book in movie form. It is about some alien tripods that come to earth and "cap" people with mind controlling devices to make humans into mindless drones. Then the story goes on to tell how a group of people (starting with a 14-year old boy) gather together and slowly start to fight the tripods and the aliens in charge. Overall a good story, I just hope they don't ruin the plot in the movie adaptation.
