I just finished setting up a semi-finished referrer statistics page. Since 3/29/2005 9:29:43 AM, I have kept a log file on my website which records some basic information about where I'm getting visitors from. The plain text log file would have a record added for every new visitor that came from a URL that's not on my website, i.e. an outside visitor. I now finally decided to throw together a page to summarize all of that glorious information in a more meaningful way. I hereby give you: the referrer statistics page in all its wonderfulness. Apparently someone won't tell you who... (first name starts with Ne, ends with al, and last name starts Gross and ends kopf) likes to visit my site very often. It works fairly well considering I threw it together in about 20-30 minutes, can't use any SQL/DB sorting/searching functions (since it's from a plain old text file), haven't programmed in PHP for quite a while, and I only used 1038 bytes for the source code. Not quite sure why there's a few phantom IP addresses, URL referrers and destination URLs that are blank on there.
