In the next month or so, I will be making some behind-the-scenes changes to my website. Plans include changing the user system to make it more flexible, and more uniform between different parts of my website. I also plan to make a more centralized news and comment-posting system, instead of each page implementing its own system. Also, there will likely be a basic karma system added, in which you can rate comments, and thus lose some karma points, but give someone else points in the process. Exact details on this system haven't been worked out yet, /. is an inspiration, but not a goal. Also, the newsletter signup will tie-in with the new user system, and there will be a few kinds of newsletters, such as the basic one like there's always been, as well as one alerting you of new news stories, etc. Finally, I plan on updating the admin privelage system (already part of the current user system), but allowing a single user to have more than one kind of admin privelages, as well as making it easier to add a new kind of admin, etc.
